The Youth Mentoring Collaborative (YMC) seeks to develop alliances both within and in association with the mentoring community. Through this collaborative effort, organizations will partner in securing financial resources to increase the amount of money flowing into mentoring programs serving Denver area youth. Building upon these connections will result in joint recruitment efforts, more extensive trainings for mentors, and multiparty activities decreasing the cost to individual organizations. As a result, more dollars will stream into programs directly benefiting youth. Strengthening these connections will enable the mentoring community to map the needs and current services offered to youth to facilitate more effective distribution and coordination of services.

Ultimately by growing the influx of capital and more efficiently utilizing those resources, the YMC aims to increase the number of Denver area youth that are positively impacted through mentoring programs.
