Metro Denver Partners
In 2008 Metro Denver Partners celebrates 40 years of working to empower approximately 15,500 youth in the Denver area. We believe there are two factors that set us apart from other agencies: 1) support and 2) relationships. We offer our volunteers a tremendous amount of support through regular contact, training, and on-going learning opportunities to ensure that they are confident and well-equipped to mentor. We also host gatherings for our mentors to get to know other mentors, provide one free or low cost activity per month for matches, and mail a bi-monthly newsletter highlighting upcoming events. The families of the youth we serve also benefit from our support as we seek to build long-term, trusting relationships with them by maintaining regular contact and by taking youth that are waiting to be matched on monthly outings. This creates an environment of trust and stability that allows for a smooth transition once we introduce the mentor into the situation. We are always looking for volunteers, and our number one requirement is the desire to make a differencee in a oung persons life. Learn More
