Mentoring 101 (M101)
Are you possibly interested in mentoring a youth, but are not quite sure if mentoring is for you?  This orientation will provide you information about the role of a mentor in a youth’s life and detail the commitment involved with this volunteer opportunity.  You will be introduced to agencies within the Youth Mentoring Collaborative who pair adult volunteers with youth, and explore which of those agencies may be a good fit for your interests and availability.

Mentor Enrichment Trainings (MET)
These courses are designed for persons who have committed to mentor and/or have entered a mentoring relationship with a young person.  The aim of these courses is to provide information to help adults better understand their mentees, assist adults in working through challenges faced in mentoring relationships, and provide tools for developing more positive, effective relationships with youth.  Persons who work with youth or who have an interest in youth development are also encouraged to attend.
