The connection between mentor and mentee is the fundamental cornerstone to successful mentoring. 
This class addresses how the mentor’s and youth’s beliefs and “hot buttons” can stop or delay the positive impact of the relationship.
This inter-active workshop will teach you to: 

• Identify the 5 “hottest buttons” for mentors and mentee
• Understand the 3 unwritten relationship rules, which affect every communication with your mentee
• Learn the 7 ways to be a positive role model through the “wheel of positive role modeling”

To cover the cost of these wonderful trainings, we are now charging $10 per person per training.  Please bring a check the night of the training, made out to the Youth Mentoring Collaborative.  If you are with a YMC agency, your agency will pay for you.
