There are issues and problems within our community that are bigger than we are and impossible to solve on our own. No single organization can tackle these issues without help. Mile High United Way maximizes the power of collective generosity so that we can do more together - and create long-term solutions in our community.

We focus on three initiatives: School Readiness, Youth Success, and Adult Self Sufficiency. Under our Five-Year Plan, by 2011, young children will be ready to succeed when they enter school; at-risk youth will graduate from high school; and individuals and families will achieve financial stability and independence.   Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships 
The Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships (DOSP) is the connecting bridge between the City and its nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. We build innovative partnerships between the City, nonprofits, foundations and corporations in order to strengthen nonprofit capabilities, and ultimately, enhance how well Denver serves its residents.

The DOSP works with individuals, foundations, corporations and nonprofit partners to raise critical funding for cooperative initiatives, foster innovative partnerships to support nonprofits and engage the entire community in volunteer efforts that help to make Denver a great city.

Our mission is to support Denver's nonprofits, empowering them to improve our quality of life. We fulfill our mission by partnering with individuals, foundations, corporations and nonprofits on these objectives:
    * Raising critical funding for cooperative initiatives
    * Fostering innovative partnerships to support nonprofits
    * Engaging the entire community in volunteer efforts
